The icy exterior and the thorns only make this friend more loveable, somehow! Thornheart's full of charm. I like the contrast between the very fluffy and smooth short fur, and the slight texture of the long fur. All the embroidery and fabrics seem sturdy, so unlike some other plush I have, the details will be around for years to come. The overall design of the wolpertinger is great too, and might be my favorite. The tiny wings and little tail are so cute, but don't stick out or poke during hugs or naps. The horns stand up well just with their stuffing. And the floppy ears are just fun! (note: lighting in my house is very yellow toned so the colors are off in these pics)
Perfect
Thornheart is ridiculously soft. Their long pile fur has a very unique texture to it, a sort of coolness similar to silk. Someone mentioned a head cannon that the Wolpertingers represented seasons with Thistledown being Spring, Dandy Heart being Summer, Wispy Winds being Fall… and of course Thornheart being Winter. The fantastic texture of their fur fits the season to perfection.
I love my Wolpertingers! They are surprisingly huggable and very detailed. You did an amazing job. The wings are my favorite part.
