Growing up in the 80s, I had one real Care Bear, one handmade, and a few of the little figures. My favorite was always Swift Heart Rabbit, one of the Cousins, and as you see below, I still have the figure, but always wanted the plush. Thornheart Wolpertinger immediately reminded me of Swift Heart, and he’s an infinitely better/softer/bigger plush than any Care Bear could hope to be—basically a dream come true for my younger self.
I’m only mad that I waited this long to order a Snughoul, because they’re genuinely wonderful, and I love the wide array of critters available so very much.
